Blueberry, Highbush 'Duke'
The Duke blueberry is a semi-evergreen, Northern highbush, yielding medium-to-large, crisp, light-blue berries. It also stands apart for its lovely, blushed white flowers that arrive in late spring and for its vibrant foliage in the fall. The Duke blueberry blooms late but ripens early, with its blossoms being especially tenacious against late-spring frost; this makes it attractive in climates that experience cooler temperatures later in the season.
You must acidify the soil down to 4 pH for blueberries to be successful. Go to the Plant Info Sheets page to learn more about how to grow blueberries.
