Join us for a brief introduction to one pathway to ecological, earth-friendly gardening. Resilient Roots Associate Director Beth Hardy-Wade will share how permaculture techniques can help you make meaningful environmental change by sequestering carbon, building soil health, and boosting biodiversity. All the while, you’ll be growing nutrient-dense foods for humans, birds, and other forms of wildlife. And permaculture is fun too!
This free event takes place at Eldredge Public Library, 564 Main Street, Chatham, from 2 to 3 pm on Wednesday, June 18. This presentation is the first in a three-part Resilient Roots series to be presented at the library.
