Join Resilient Roots for a tour of a Cape Cod property where a permaculture landscape design has been growing and evolving for seven years. This is a chance to see what happens when regenerative ideas move from paper to practice and are given time to mature.
Explore productive fruit tree guilds, thriving soil-building systems, rainwater collection, biochar applications, and a landscape where nearly every resource is captured and put to use. We'll also look at the property's permeable driveway, solar energy system, and FujiClean septic system, and discuss how these elements work together to reduce waste, conserve resources, and support a healthy, resilient landscape.
This workshop is less about theory and more about seeing the long-term results of thoughtful design. We'll talk about successes, surprises, lessons learned, and how small decisions made years ago continue to shape the health and productivity of the site today.
Whether you're interested in growing food, building soil, conserving water, or creating a more self-reliant yard, you'll leave with practical ideas and inspiration for your own landscape.
We have a sliding-scale fee system. The cost for us to bring you the workshop is $45. If you feel you can help out another person to come, you can choose to pay $55. If you can't afford the full cost, you are welcome to pay $35.
If the workshop fee is out of reach, please email us. Access matters to us, and we’ll do our best to work something out.
