Design Series: Garden Patches and Permaculture Elements – Nov. 8

$35.00

Sunday November 8th 1 - 4 pm

At this workshop we will learn how to design new beds and garden elements to transform a space into an edible, pollinator friendly, regenerative garden. Participants will be given a set of existing conditions, and goals, for a site as well as plant lists and plenty of examples of design elements (think fruit tree guild, herb spiral, water feature). Working in small teams and within the guidelines of nature your challenge will be to design a garden “patch” that is functional within given criteria. Working within limits is going to ensure abundance.

Participants will walk away with both inspiration and practical resources to create and implement similar patch designs in their own yard. If you have a space in your yard (or maybe your whole landscape) you just don’t know what to do with, this is for you.

This workshop is hosted in West Barnstable.

This workshop is part 2 of 3 in our introduction to permaculture design series that spans fall ‘26-spring ‘27. Each workshop is valuable on its own, but it is highly encouraged you sign up for all three.

We have a sliding-scale fee system. The cost for us to bring you the workshop is $35. If you feel you can help out another person to come, you can choose to pay $45. If you can't afford the full cost, you are welcome to pay $25.

If the workshop fee is out of reach, please email us. Access matters to us, and we’ll do our best to work something out.
