Turn Fall Clean-up Into Next Year’s Harvest – Oct. 10th

$32.00

Saturday October 10th 9 - 11:30 am

As we start to think about winding down the garden season, there's still lots to be done and resources to harness in your yard to help your garden to thrive next year. Join us for a practical, hands-on workshop that explores how to turn garden "waste" into garden gold. Using found organic materials you can build soil, suppress weeds, and support next year's harvest. We'll cover simple fall tasks that set the stage for a healthier, more productive garden in the spring, including soil care, nutrient sources, mulching, bed preparation, and protecting plants through the winter.

You’ll leave understanding the resources already in your yard and practical ways for your seasonal cleanup to become next year's fertility making a big difference in the garden. Whether you're growing flowers, vegetables, shrubs or trees you’ll learn how the natural cycles can help you to build healthier soils.

We have a sliding-scale fee system. The cost for us to bring you the workshop is $32. If you feel you can help out another person to come, you can choose to pay $42. If you can't afford the full cost, you are welcome to pay $22.

If the workshop fee is out of reach, please email us. Access matters to us, and we’ll do our best to work something out.
