9 - 11 pm
This workshop explores how to continue gardening with confidence, comfort, and joy as our bodies and abilities change over time. Rooted in the experience of Marjorie Williams and her work with clients, “Thriving in the Garden for Your Lifelong” takes an adaptive approach that recognizes both gardens and gardeners are always evolving.
Participants will learn practical strategies to make gardening more accessible, efficient, and safe over the long run. The session will be resource-rich, with take-home materials and follow-up emails that include adapted tools, techniques, and design ideas. There will also be plenty of hands-on examples to see and touch, helping bring these concepts to life in a tangible way.
Whether you’re planning ahead or already adjusting how you garden, this workshop offers thoughtful, doable solutions to help you keep growing on your own terms.
Marjorie has over 40 years of gardening experience and is a graduate of the New York Botanical Garden Program . She previously ran her own garden installation and maintenance business.
We have a sliding-scale fee system. The cost for us to bring you the workshop is $32. If you feel you can help out another person to come, you can choose to pay $42. If you can't afford the full cost, you are welcome to pay $22.
If the workshop fee is out of reach, please email us. Access matters to us, and we’ll do our best to work something out.
