Volunteer at Resilient Roots
Thanks for your interest in volunteering with Resilient Roots. Every volunteer contributes directly to Resilient Roots’ success. A few hours a week of your time offers invaluable support that brings our mission and services to the community. As our organization grows, our volunteers learn more as they help us offer more.
We are looking forward to a very busy spring and we need your help! For 2022 we are working at Fuller Farm on alternating Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Also, on Friday April 22, Earth Day, we will be having a special volunteering session. Let us know if you are interested!!
Below you will find brief descriptions of some of the volunteer opportunities that we expect to have for the 2022 season.
Please fill out the form below so we can get an understanding of how you would like to help out. Within a few days of receiving your information, we will be in touch. We look forward to working with you!

Volunteer Opportunities at Resilient Roots
Fuller Farm Garden Volunteer
Get your hands into the dirt and work with us to support our garden at Fuller Farm. Join us on a weekday morning for a few hours of garden work with friends.
Weeding, planting, sheet-mulching, cardboard and woodchip laying, spraying compost teas, etc.
Gathering of materials from your neighborhood or community (leaves, cardboard, coffee grounds, etc.)
Volunteers at events
When we hold an event we always need a few extra hands to be greeters or help set up before an event and break down after an event. It's a great way to get to know the participants and puts a welcoming face on the event.
Help us share our story, mission and services through photos and videos.
Attend and photograph volunteer and outreach events
Edit photos and videos
Recommend photoshoot and video ideas to help share our story.
Help us maintain our inventory of garden tools and work with us to improve and expand this resource.
Potting up in Spring
We get loads of plants delivered in the spring and we grow many seedlings that all need to be moved into larger pots. We could use help getting organized for the potting up event and extra hands for the potting up.
