At this hands-on workshop, we will be talking about the basics of seed saving and have seeds on hand for you to take home.
Come learn about the benefits of seed saving - both financial and cultural. Learn what plants you can save seeds from, at what stage you should gather your seeds, and how to prepare them so they will be viable for planting next year.
We will also touch on how to gather and save native species so you can propagate plants that support our local pollinators, beneficial insects, and wildlife.
This workshop will be held outdoors in a covered area in West Barnstable.
No experience is necessary, all are welcome. Pre-registration required. Numbers will be limited. We will send the address upon registration.
