Our permablitzes are day-long events that combine structured learning, getting your hands dirty, and socializing. While working together to raise a garden in one day, we learn new skills and how to garden in a way that enhances wildlife, protects water resources, sequesters carbon and provides food while decreasing the need for long-term landscape maintenance. This is an opportunity to learn, by doing and sharing, about different interlocking pieces of permaculture gardens and landscape design.
At this permablitz specifically we will be installing fruit guilds and raised beds, sheet mulching to improve soil health, implementing vertical gardening structures, and planting blueberries and cranberries.
No experience is necessary and all are encouraged to sign up. A commitment to the full day is required. Pre-registration is also required. Come be a part of growing a beautiful new garden space. Rain date is May 15th.
