Saturday, October 2nd, 9 am -12 pm

At this workshop, we will demonstrate how to create a rich, alive, biological foundation for your trees, shrubs, and beds.  We will discuss what plants are supportive in the landscape and why.  Also, we will demonstrate sheet mulching, which enhances the sandy Cape soils, using local resources. We will teach you how to select plants that attract beneficial insects and enhance the nutrients for your plants whether edible or ornamental. You will learn how to set up your yard to be resilient and low maintenance in the future by using these concepts.

This workshop will be held at Fuller Farm in Marstons Mills - a collaboration with Barnstable Land Trust who owns the property and Resilient Roots who is creating and maintaining the gardens.
